We do not require insurance coverage at our Richmond optometry practice. We provide comprehensive eye examinations and high quality eye wear at affordable prices. We also accept your insurance coverage as a form of payment. If you chose to use your insurance, please call us to confirm your coverage.

A vision insurance policy is not the same as medical insurance. Regular health insurance plans protect you against financial losses due to unexpected eye injuries or disease. Vision insurance, on the other hand, is a wellness benefit designed to provide routine eye care, prescription eyewear and other vision-related services at a reduced cost.

Examination Costs

Please note that examination costs vary depending on the complaint that brings you into the office. We will try our best to furnish you with an estimate of your exam costs, but the final decision about the exam level and associated costs will depend solely on your physician. Please furnish us with your insurance information ahead of time, so we may check your eligibility and out of pocket costs before your visit.
